Cricfy TV for Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
Samsung Smart TVs run Tizen OS, not Android, so the Cricfy TV APK cannot be installed directly. Here are the two methods that work in 2026 — Smart View mirroring and an external Android TV box.

Why Cricfy TV can't install directly on Tizen
Tizen is Samsung's in-house Linux-based OS, closed to APK sideloading the same way LG's webOS is. The Samsung Smart Hub app store does not list Cricfy TV for the same reason it is absent from the Google Play Store — Play/Samsung Store policy does not currently permit real-time broadcast retransmission apps. The two workarounds below work on every Samsung Smart TV made since 2018 (Tizen 4.0 and above).
Method 1 — Smart View mirroring from your phone (fastest)
- Install Cricfy TV on your Android phone. Use the Download button on the homepage — 24 MB, no login required.
- Open Smart View on your phone. Swipe down the notification shade → tap Smart View (Samsung phones) or Screen Cast (other Android phones).
- Select your Samsung TV from the list of discovered devices. The TV shows a pairing prompt — accept it with the TV remote.
- Open Cricfy TV and pick a match. The stream mirrors to the TV with roughly 100-200 ms of lag.
- Lock phone orientation to landscape (Cricfy TV Settings → Lock landscape) for a proper full-screen picture.
Samsung-to-Samsung (Galaxy phone → Samsung TV) pairing is the smoothest; other Android phones work too but may take a few extra seconds to discover the TV.
Method 2 — Add an Android TV / Fire TV Stick (best long-term)
Plug any Android TV box or Fire TV Stick into a free HDMI port and Cricfy TV installs natively — full remote control, true 4K decoding handled by the box, zero mirroring lag or phone battery drain.
- Buy any Fire TV Stick 4K/4K Max, Chromecast with Google TV, Mi Box S or Nvidia Shield.
- Plug it into a free HDMI port, switch the Samsung TV's input source to that HDMI port.
- Follow the Firestick / Android TV install guide — identical steps.
- Rename the HDMI input in Samsung's Source menu (e.g. "Cricfy TV") for one-button access afterwards.

Samsung Smart TV troubleshooting
Smart View can't find my TV
Confirm the phone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network, not a guest network with client/AP isolation on. On the TV: Settings → General → Network → Expert Settings → confirm IP mode is on and DLNA is enabled.
Mirrored stream drops every few minutes
Move the phone closer to the router or switch to 5 GHz Wi-Fi. If your Samsung TV supports Wi-Fi 6/6E, ensure the TV itself is also on the 5 GHz band, not 2.4 GHz.
Picture is mirrored but there's no sound
Check Samsung TV Settings → Sound → Sound Output isn't routed to a disconnected soundbar or Bluetooth speaker.
Does the Samsung Tizen Store have any Cricfy TV alternative?
No official listing exists for the same policy reasons as Play Store. Avoid any Tizen Store app claiming to be "Cricfy TV" — it is not affiliated with this project. Use Method 1 or 2 above.
